Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in general, commercial, and complex litigation matters
- Draft pleadings and professional correspondence
- Prepare and file legal documents electronically
- Organize and maintain electronic case files
- Manage and track legal calendars, deadlines, and document correspondence
- Maintain matter matrices for ongoing cases
- Coordinate overall case management and support trial preparation
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong professional communication skills and ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to see the big picture
- Demonstrated reliability and adaptability to new technologies
- Excellent client service, written, verbal, and proofreading abilities
- Experience supporting trial preparation and proceedings
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and managing work with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Thorough understanding of Florida Rules of Court
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic document management systems, and legal research tools
- Experience with litigation support software
- Florida Notary
The candidate must also pass a background check as a condition for employment.
