Our firm is seeking a highly experienced attorney to join our Estate Planning and Probate practice in Canfield, OH. Position Overview

Our Estate Planning and Probate practice is renowned for serving high-net worth individuals, closely held businesses, and family offices with comprehensive wealth succession planning. We provide sophisticated legal counsel tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them preserve assets, efficiently transfer wealth, and achieve long-term financial goals. The team leverages deep expertise in estate and trust administration, corporate structure and transactions, tax planning, and charitable giving strategies to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients seeking to secure their legacies for future generations.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on all aspects of estate planning, probate, and trust administration
  • Draft and review basic and advanced estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, SLAT’s, GRAT’s, ILITs, IDGT’s, family limited partnerships, and LLC’s
  • Represent fiduciaries in the administration of complex estates and trusts, including the preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns
  • Provide guidance on federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes
  • Develop and implement charitable estate planning strategies, including the drafting of CRUT’s, CRAT’s, CLAT’s, and establishment of private foundations
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance estate planning workflows and client service

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration
  • Extensive knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes
  • Demonstrated ability to draft both basic and complex estate planning documents
  • Experience representing fiduciaries in estate and trust administration
  • Strong charitable estate planning background, including private foundations and charitable trusts
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI for estate planning practice
  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio
